Zanzaverse is a fictional science-fiction/fantasy universe that i have been working on since 2019. I have always been a world-builder of sorts, and Zanzaverse is more like a collection of multiple of these projects, glued together in a somewhat cohesive narrative.
The project revolves around the settling of space before and after an apocalypse in the 22nd century that 'kills' the vast majority of people on Earth, but leaves the inhabitants of space unharmed, who then attempt to take the opportunity to replace what was lost. It focuses on the stories of the civilizations that form during this time and the things, ideas, and people that helped build them.
It does not try to be a realistic approximation of what this future would be like, but it is more so an exploration of wacky and interesting ideas in science, technology, and politics. You can think of it like science fantasy with a somewhat believable aesthetic.
